I visited the website to look for places to shift next semester. According to my budget and room specifications, I found College Park Towers to be suitable for me. I can now go forward and look for any vacancies with the management team. I got the information I needed and getting it was very convenient.

I came here to look for student clubs/ organizations to join in this semester. As I am new to UMD, being part of a student club will help me network with people and make new friends. I found Indian Student Association (ISA) appropriate since I will get to see people from my country and will give me a sense of home. I am happy and looking forward to meeting them in their next event.

I visited to look for places to go around DC/College Park. Since I love exploring new places and I am new to UMD, I wanted to cover iconic places around. I really liked the suggestion of National Gallery of Art because what’s better than starting with knowing the art and culture of a new place

I am here to look for medical Insurance options that I can opt for in the Spring semester. Since I am an international student, having an option that is in my budget and covers most of the medical facilities is very important because I need to get sick very often when I change places. I am satisfied with my choice of SC Plus and will soon book it once my current insurance expires.

I came to see housing options that I can maybe choose in the next semester since my current house is quite far from my department and coming here can be a task everyday. I found Varsity to be quite close to Brandon Iribe Center for Computer Science and will look for any apartments that are empty there. The site was precise with the number of options and was quite user-friendly to navigate around.

I did not have a specific thing to look for in this website. I was just excited to look at all the information that was covered here from the perspective of a new international student at UMD. I specifically had trouble keeping track of all the tasks to be completed before and after arrival in campus. The way all the tasks and their links were covered here was very precise and helpful. I wish I had the website when I was coming here this fall.
